There's no oil in Sri Lanka. Ah! That could explain why the world's governments aren't doing anything. There is one more chance though. The UN is about to vote on whether to support America in pushing for an investigation into war crimes committed by the Sri Lankan government. Let's hope for justice.
Maelo, there is no need to send troops in. Sri Lanka would be very vulnerable to an economic boycott and just the threat might be enough to cause the SL government to mend its ways.
ReplyDeleteoops, I didn't make myself clear because I was emotional. I didn't mean send troops in now. I was actually talking about how the UN didn't intervene when the bombings happened.
